Funtua Inland Dry Port Receives First Import Container

Today, the 21st of January, 2025, – The Funtua Inland Dry Port (FIDP) achieved a historic milestone with the arrival of its first-ever import containers, transported from Lagos under Customs escort.

This landmark event marks the official commencement of operations at the Port, further positioning FIDP as a vital logistics hub for the states of Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Kaduna and Niger.
